I've forgotten my WHM/cPanel password. Where can I reset it?

To reset your cPanel password

There are two ways to reset your cPanel password.

via MyHost Customer Portal

  1. Login to our portal https://secure.myhost.nz/

  2. Select Services > My Services

  3. Select the service (or website) you'd like to change the password for.

  4. On the left-hand side, click Change Password

  5. In the Change Password screen, enter and confirm your new password

  6. Click Save.

via cPanel Password Reset process

  1. Go to the cPanel log in page at https://cpanel.YourDomain (e.g. https://cpanel.example.com) or https://YourDomain/cPanel (e.g. https://example.com/cpanel)
  2. Click Reset Password.

  3. Enter your cPanel username (which is different to your MyHost username) in the Username text box and click Reset Password.

  4. Enter your Contact Email Address and click Send Security Code. Keep this browser tab open, because you will need to enter your code here soon.
If you do not specify a contact email address, the system displays a fake contact email address when you attempt to reset your password.

  5. Check your email for your security code.

  6. Back in the browser tab, enter your Security Code and click Submit.

  7. Enter your New Password, confirm it, and click Set Password.

  8. To log in with your new password, click Log In.
